As a member of the SiteREADY Meeting Connections team, it is often questioned what we do and how this falls under SiteREADY’s Mission Statement: We are transforming technology integration within the workplace of the future, empowering our clients to focus on their core business. The Meeting Connections team provides on-site technology integration for client’s meetings and events that take place at off-site locations across the nation. During preparation and throughout the meeting/event, our team provides technology consulting and planning on network connectivity, bandwidth, and equipment needs, as well as provide on-site staffing for meeting support.
Many factors play a role in the preparation for an off-site event such as the size, content being delivered, length of event, venue selection, audio visual requirements, and vendor selection and management. Because of this, our team takes on the responsibility of helping to source property and negotiate pricing while also working with rental companies to provide equipment.
The events that our team is engaged in range from conferences, continuing education, employee on-boarding, company townhalls, and special annual events. Because of the variety, these events could last anywhere from a few hours to two weeks, depending on the purpose and content being delivered. It is essential, that no matter the length of event, that the network is up at all times and performing as it should.
Alleviating the stress that goes into planning and supporting the technology needs for an event, our Meeting Connections team allows the client’s Meeting and Event teams to focus on their core duties during the event.
